AVCHD to Mov Lite App Reviews

Converts AVCHD files of all sizes

I was using the program that came with my Mac to import and edit, but it was a PIA and didn’t handle larger clips very well. THIS program does! I can run an hour long AVCHD file through it and NO issues. I also love the settings options. USUALLY I just need standard mp4s, but it’s nice to have the uncompressed and larger file options. Until I can afford a more professional video editor that handles these files in-app, this is perfect (and can’t beat the price).

Error

Not even worth it even for free! Waste if time! Doesn’t work!

Easy and affective

I like how it batch processed all the files from the one AVCHD file. Took a bit long but I think I may have missed (or added) a setting. Came in really handy.

Converts AVCHDs to Any Format

This program does exactly what I needed it to do. I have a Canon C100 that records in AVCHD format and I cant “see” the individual files on my computer. I used this to covert to MOV files and it did what it was supposed to. The actual application itself is a little clunky and seems to have some errors in it (it kept getting stuck) Its not super intuitive either, but it worked. If they fix the freezy/clunkyness and make it a little more intuitive, absolutly a 5 star product. Customer Support was AWESOME and super fast responding, like within 5 minutes fast, with the exact answers I needed with screenshots.

Grateful for this app!

I spent a lot of time trying to find a free way to convert an MTS file to MOV but everything I found was charging around $30-$50, until I found this. Very grateful that this is a free app that got the job done! Thanks!

Great tool and free too!

I was looking for something inexpensive so I didn’t have to use quicktime to convert over 150 clips embedded in a avchd file that was created by our video camera. This app worked like a charm! It took several hours to run the conversion but those were hours that I didn’t have to sit in front with my Mac doing one file at a time!
